What is included in the registration cost for Let’s Talk Coffee® Rwanda 2017?

The registration cost includes two days of conference events; lunches; coffee breaks; workshops; and a BBQ dinner on the final day. Registration does not include lodging.

Where will the event be held?

Let’s Talk Coffee® Rwanda 2017 will take place at the Kigali Marriott Hotel in central Kigali, Rwanda’s capital and largest city.

When should I plan to arrive and leave the conference?

Attendees should plan to arrive to Kigali on June 6 and depart on June 11 or June 12, depending on which field trip you wish to attend. Details about field trips will be available soon.

Do I need a visa to travel to Rwanda?

Nationals of Australia, Germany, Israel, New Zealand, Republic of South Africa, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States of America can receive a visa upon arrival for 30 days and $30.

Nationals of East Africa Community (EAC) member states–Uganda, Kenya, Burundi–receive free entry and are not required to apply for a visa. Nationals of other countries must apply for a visa online: https://www.migration.gov.rw/index.php?id=203

Attendees applying in advance should apply for a T6-1 Conference Visa, which is a single-entry visa for the purpose of visiting for a conference. It is $30 and valid for 6 months.

Travelers who have visited any Ebola countries in West Africa must wait 90 days to enter Rwanda. For additional visa information, visit the Rwandan Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration website. U.S. residents can contact the Embassy of Rwanda via telephone at (202) 232-2882.

Will I need any vaccinations for my trip to Rwanda?

For some travelers, proof of a Yellow Fever vaccination may be required upon entry. Learn more from the Rwandan Ministry of Health here and the CDC here.
